Montréal has one of the world’s busiest inland ports and represents a hub for the transportation of transatlantic goods. Connected to over 100 countries around the world, the Port of Montréal is a leader on North American’s eastern seaboard in the area of container traffic. Specifically, it offers shipments from Northern Europe the quickest maritime access to North America’s east coast and the U.S. Midwest.
